I was annoyed at myself because I couldn't figure out what kind of life I want to live in 5 years. I only feel comfortable answering that about today, so that's what I'm going with now.
Recent Longer Realizations
- I hate Reddit but I can’t look away
- Museums are great for grieving
- I’ve been using my hyper independence the wrong way
- Cancelling my music streaming subscription made me excited about music again
- You have to do all the healthy lifestyle stuff when you feel fine
Recent Financial Realizations
- I’ve been in a viscous cycle of financially recovering from moving for the past two decades
- A reminder to myself that if I keep being boring now, later I’ll get to move somewhere cool and have fun again
- I assumed my relationship with my dad needed fixing (which means my “Financial Realizations” section is completely changing directions)
- The guilt (and presumptiveness) of talking to your parent about their inevitable death
- I don’t know anything about pensions
